Lena Taglia, 93, Of River Forest, died June 30, 1993 at home. Mrs. Taglia was a 1922 graduate of the University of Chicago. She was the mother of Florence Romano and Victor Taglia, grandmother of 17, and great grandmother of 46. Funeral Mass was celebrated July 1 at St. Luke Church. Buried in Mount Carmel.

She was active in Italian cultural and philanthropic organizations, and the women’s auxiliary of the Chicago Medical Society.
